Pablo "Macho" Maysonet IV Writer, Producer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor
Always fascinated with horror since childhood, it was just a matter of time before Pablo found his footing within the genre. After studying in multimedia and graphic design for several years, Maysonet grew bored of just designing illustrations and wanted more. Film had a strong grasp on him and rather than spending time and money on schooling for film production, Pablo took a crash course on production and taught himself about the industry. With only a low budget film library and several filmmaking books, Pablo easily learned the ropes and quickly formed his own production company, Shattered Dreams Productions. While at a horror convention, Pablo and Brian were inspired by a conversation they held with horror film producer and independant movie icon, Roger Cormen. Roger told the young inspiring filmmakers that the best way to learn about moviemaking is to do what he did, pick up a camera and shoot. With 360+ films produced by Cormen (including Little Shop of Horror) Pablo did exactly what he was told. In 2004 SDP, without any prior filmmaking experience, produced DeadHouse, their 1st feature film. Pablo always finds a way to push the envelope and add unseen twists to any project, which has become SDP's trademark.
